Adobe answers Apple’s Accusations about inefficiency of Flash

Apple’s attack on adobe and its product, the Flash layer has been now answered by the organization. In a recent interview, Steve Job expressed his view about Adobe and its Flash player stating that the organization was “lazy”, the software itself was defective, and that was the main reason why he did not think it was appropriate to include it in the iPhone. However, it was now payback time from Adobe. In a company blog, its CTO, Kevin Lynch, discussed the issue stating that Flash has not been included in a “certain magical device” to which we can assume that he was talking about the iPad.

This comes as a major shock because Flash was initially developed 15 years ago for the benefit of Tablet PC’s. Apple’s new iPad is a new generation Tablet PC that requires Flash for the better and faster viewing of web pages and other important applications. Moreover, according to Kevin, nearly 85% of the most popular websites today incorporate Flash at an extensive level. This means, that apple’s new device will miss out a lot in terms of comfort of viewing and as well as customer satisfaction. It is already suffering a great deal on the iPhone with Flash incompatibility, which makes it frustrating for the user to view webpage with rich Flash content.

Every other smart phone organization incorporates Flash on their device to enable the viewers the facility of viewing rich Flash content on web pages. Kevin also adds that the accusation of a bug in the software was baseless since if it did have potential bugs that could lead to a crash of the system then so many web pages would not have opted for Flash. This was the very proof that Flash was neither incompatible nor poorly developed, as accused by Apple.
